Law of Plant Construction - Lawyer Düsseldorf
German companies are still strong in national and international plant construction. The legal structures that such projects require are highly complex and, unfortunately, often highly complicated. JR is able to draft and understand these structures and to legally map out the numerous interests of the different parties involved in the necessary contracts (multi-party contracts, individual contracts). This is routinely done in German or in English. The aim is for JR to trust purchasers as well as contractors to accompany them in various project phases during plant construction and to actively support them until the handover or commissioning of the plant. In doing so, we try to settle any differences that may arise in terms of performance and consideration. This involves claims, anti-claims and risk management. Of course, we also support our clients in subsequent court or arbitration proceedings.
Plant Construction on an International Level
In transnational cases, we work together with national and international colleagues in a team of lawyers from the most diverse jurisdictions for the benefit of our clients. Our many years of experience and excellent contacts within Europe, as well as in the USA, Japan and Asia, play a prominent role in this.
Our most recent reference projects were logistics centres and production and process plants for chemical companies.
